Geothermal Air Conditioning & Heating

With a geothermal HVAC system, you can heat and cool your home with the power of the sun!

Perfect for the environmentally-conscious, geothermal systems utilize natural heat that is absorbed by the ground to warm and cool your home. Depending on the setting, geothermal HVAC systems can either pump heat into your home, for sufficient heating, or pump heat out of your home, for eco-friendly cooling you can count on.

Our HVAC contractors can perform a professional geothermal installation that suits your personal needs. Not only do our geothermal systems help the environment, but they can also save you money on your next utility bill! Geothermal systems do not depend on fuel or electricity, helping you pay less in energy costs.

How Do Geothermal Systems Work?

Once a geothermal system is installed, it uses a heat pump to circulate fluid through underground pipes, also called “loops,” which absorb heat distributed into the ground from the sun. The liquid in these pipes is then returned to the heat pump, which uses it to heat or cool your home. During the summer, heat is taken from the home and brought underground, while in winter, the heat from the liquid is extracted and distributed around the home. These systems do not require fossil fuels or a lot of electricity.

Parts Of A Geothermal System

Geothermal Loop

When the outside air is either scorching hot or blisteringly cold, your underground temperature remains relatively constant year-round. A geothermal loop is a path of pipes that contain water or a mixture of water and antifreeze, that travel deep enough to reach the consistent temperatures underground. Geothermal loops circulate this liquid, bringing either cold or heat to your house.

Geothermal Heat Pump

The geothermal heat pump is your system’s central hub machine and includes the compressor and heat exchanger. The main role of your system’s heat pump is to transfer the liquid in the loop, which moves heat through the system.

Benefits Of Geothermal Heating And Cooling

Improved Safety

Unlike furnaces, geothermal HVAC systems do not need combustion, flames, or fossil fuels to operate. Instead, these systems use heat from underground to warm your home.

Quiet Operation

Geothermal systems are mostly underground for noiseless operation. Enjoy unmatched temperature control with a device that is quieter than a refrigerator!

Minimal Maintenance

Our advanced geothermal systems are installed underground. This shields them from inclement weather and corrosion. If your system does require maintenance or HVAC repairs, our team is always prepared to change filters, fix damaged parts, and clean coils as needed.
